Extra security has been added to West High School in southwest Bakersfield after vandals struck the campus overnight.
The graffiti was discovered at 7:15 a.m., and parents were notified through the all-call system before 8:00am of a non-credible threat that appeared in that graffiti, said Kern High School District spokesperson Lisa Krch.
Summer classes aren't impacted at the school, but extra security will be on campus as a precaution.
The incident is still under investigation.
