Family still searching for answers three years after son's death

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — It’s been three years since the death of 19-year-old Marcus DeLouth, Jr., but his family is still looking for answers.

In December 2016, DeLouth, Jr. accompanied a friend to a party in Arvin, but never made it back home to Bakersfield and was shot to death, found in the early morning on the 700 block of Meyer Street.

His loved ones gathered at Greenlawn Cemetery on Sunday evening for what would have been DeLouth, Jr.’s 22nd birthday.
