KERN COUNTY, Calif. — One motorcyclist has died after being found just off a road in Southwest Bakersfield near the intersection of Old River and Millux Roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim is a Hispanic man in his 30s. He was wearing a helmet, which was severely damaged according to CHP. Investigators are not sure if he was struck by a vehicle or what lead to his injuries. CHP says he was dead when they arrived at the scene.
The incident was first reported around 6:40 pm, the investigation is ongoing.
