A man accused of shooting and killing a California retired police officer outside a Valley casino on Christmas Eve has been arrested, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said.

Authorities said John Campos, Sr., 47 , was arrested Friday by Phoenix police. Officials said he shot Frank Pascua, a retired Bakersfield police officer, in a carjacking outside the Wild Horse Pass Casino.
Officials said that someone spotted Campos - contacted police and said Campos was acting suspicious.
When police arrived Friday, they made contact with Campos who was on a bike.
Campos attempted to speed off on his bike but was hit by another vehicle
Campos was taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Campos will be in a Phoenix jail until Monday when the FBI picks him up.
