Federal water managers announced they’d boost water allocations for agriculture from 65 percent to 100 percent for the first time in more than ten years.
Last year, farmers received just six percent of their contracted allocation.
The state has experienced above average rainfall this winter. The Governor uplifted the drought state of emergency for most of California earlier in April.
