The Farmworker Institute of Education and Leadership Development (FIELD Institute) announced the certification of their conservation program by the State of California. 

 

FIELD's KSACC program provides training and employment opportunities in education, environmental conservation and restoration for hundreds of Kern County youth each year.

 

With this official designation by the state's California Conservation Corps and CalRecycle, the County of Kern's Waste Management Department will now enjoy integrated support from KSACC to help meet state recycling mandates for discarded tires, beverage containers and used oil.
