Knights Inn near Wible and Belle Terrace in Southwest Bakersfield was evacuated Friday night after a fire broke out around 10:30 p.m., according to Bakersfield Fire Department. 

Moderate smoke was coming out of one room leading to multiple deployed hoses through the first door. 21 firefighters battled the blaze, according to Bakersfield Fire Department.
