A fire broke out early Friday morning at a condo complex in Southwest Bakersfield.

The Bakersfield Fire Department were on scene of the fire at around 6 a.m. in the 4600 Block Beechwood Court, just off of White Lane, at the Cypress Glen Condominiums.

It's unknown at this time what caused the fire or if anyone was inside the apartment when it broke out.

Fire officials said the fire started at one of the upper-level units and spread to seven other units.
