At around 1:00 AM this morning, Kern County Fire crews received a call for a structure fire at the 200 block of Ferguson Ave.

KC Fire crews arrived on scene to a 1300 square foot uninhabited structure that was fully involved.

A reinforced structure response was dispatched and crews immediately established a water supply.

Hose lines were established to protect surrounding homes and to make an aggressive attack on the fire. A primary search with in the home was completed and no injuries were reported.

The fire was extinguished with in 30 min and crews remained on scene for extensive mop up.
