UPDATE, 11:13 a.m.: City fire crews have extinguished a house fire in East Bakersfield that sparked this morning.
Investigators are still trying to determine just what started the blaze. The house was completely destroyed.
So far, no injuries have been reported.

Bakersfield Fire crews are battling a house fire near the corner of East 18th and Inyo Streets in East Bakersfield.
A person was detained by arson investigators early on, but that person has since been released and the department says they were not involved in the fire.
Crews tell 23ABC News the building is abandoned, but it's not clear if anyone was inside when the fire started or what caused the fire.
