Rio fire in Northeast Bakersfield contained

The Rio fire broke out near Round Mountain Road in Northeast Bakersfield Friday afternoon.

The fire burned 11 acres and is at 100% containment, according to KCFD. The cause is under investigation and did not threaten any structures.

Brush was burned, but there was no damage.
