Fire Watch: Crews continue to do battle with wildfires around the region

Residents in Mountain Cove near Azusa were allowed to return to their homes as crews continue to battle the Ranch Fire.

Officials say the fire has burned 3,000 acres and is zero percent contained. The Ranch Fire broke out Thursday afternoon near San Gabriel Canyon. No injuries or damages to structures have been reported.

Meanwhile, the Lake Fire burning near Lake Hughes has now scorched 11,637, and containment for the fire is now at 12 percent.

Officials say no injuries have been reported but three structures have been destroyed and more than 5,400 are threatened.

Finally, crews are close to fully containing the blaze burning in Kern County. At last check, the Stagecoach Fire is 99 percent contained and has burned through 7,760 acres. Twenty-three homes have been destroyed by the blaze.
