Local firefighters are collecting donations to help in the fight against cancer. It's all apart of their "Fire Up the Campout Against Cancer" campaign.
Kern County firefighters will be out on the corners of Olive and Calloway and Olive and Knudsen collecting donations from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. The effort will help raise money for the Kern County Cancer fund.
Businesses located inside the Riverlakes Galleria Shopping Center on Olive and Calloway will be donating 20% of sales towards the cause.
