Raising Cane's is bringing fried chicken to Bakersfield!

A construction worker at the expected location tells 23ABC that the fried chicken chain is supposed to open its first location in town.

The construction is taking place on the corner of Coffee and Downing, across from where the new Buffalo Wild Wings is being built.

 

23ABC reached out to Raising Cane's and they gave us this statement:

Raising Cane’s is continuously evaluating opportunities to grow restaurants all over the world, and especially in California. Many factors go into our decisions, and ever-changing market conditions can affect planned locations and launch dates.
