Mojave is getting ready to enjoy all the chili dogs and corn dogs they want, as the town's first Wienerschnitzel is set to open Saturday, June 16.
To celebrate the grand opening of the restaurant at 1626 Sierra Highway, just off Highway 14, a day-long party is being held. There will be a classic-car show, dance contest, prizes. Plus, the first 100 guest will receive a free, five-meal voucher.
This is the ninth Wienerschnitzel in Kern County, joining locations in Bakersfield and Ridgecrest.
The festivities begin Saturday June 16 at 10 a.m. at the location on Sierra Highway.
