Five people are in the hospital after a two-vehicle crash Friday on Highway 46.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, a pick-up truck collided with a big rig on the 46, just west of Wasco. The big rig rolled over and the truck's bed was detached, due to the crash.
KCSO said five people were transported to the hospital, but no word on the severity of their injuries.
Kern County Public Health is also on scene overseeing cleanup of a fuel spill. KCSO is still investigating the crash.
