Angry Barnyard BBQ joined us for Foodie Friday this week to talk about the success of their new downtown business, southern style BBQ.
Angry Barnyard BBQ co-owner Bobbi Duke says though there are plenty of BBQ joints in Kern County, this eatery is unique because of it's Southern flare. The menu includes Southern favorites like cheesy pepper grits, fried okra, beignets and daily specials like shrimp and catfish po-boys.
They serve up BBQ classics like brisket, tri-tip, ribs, mac n' cheese and chili beans.
It's one of the several businesses to open in the downtown area this year.
They are located at 916 18th St. Weekdays they are open from 11 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and closed Sundays.
