BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Soul Food Festivalis hosting their inaugural event on August 24, and vendors are promising to deliver some authentic soul food.
There will be live music, games, and fun for the whole family.
It's taking place at Noble Park, located at 700 S. P Street in Bakersfield from 3 to 9 p.m.
The Facebook event description says "the recipe does not have soul, you the must bring the soul, so if you think you have what it takes, then let's get busy."
This festival benefits the Kern County Black Jr. Chamber of Commerce.
There are still tickets available to this event! You can buy tickets here. They are $20 online or $25 at the door. Kids 10 and younger are $10, and children 5 and younger get in for free.
