BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — ReMix Asian Kitchen joined us in studio to talk about their twist on traditional Asian dishes.

They specialize in modern Asian comfort foods from Hawaii, Japan, Korea. Sung Suh, the owner of ReMix Asian Kitchen, calls the dishes "foods we all grew up with. Fried chicken, BBQ, fish n' chips, but with Asian flavors."

The restaurant is a little over a year old, but since they are located in a non-traditional location, the Riverwalk Medical Offices, they are still trying to bring awareness to the eatery.

They're located at 9450 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA 93311, across from CSU Bakersfield. They're open everyday except Sundays.

The ReMix Asian Kitchen menu is constantly evolving and they're always featuring new specials.

Some of their newer specials include the Remix Ramen Bowl and Spicy Chashu Pork Plate Lunch. One of their classic dishes is the Loco Moco plate.
