BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The former Bakersfield elementary school principal accused of murdering her husband was back in court on Friday morning. Leslie Chance's arraignment was continued until October 16th.

Chance is accused of killing her husband Todd Chance back in 2013.

Leslie Chance was arrested after her husband was found in a field with several gunshot wounds. She was eventually released and "re-arrested" in the shooting.

She is facing first-degree murder charges.
