A former champion wrestler was killed on Sunday near Pyramid lake in a car accident.

The accident happened at around 4:50 a.m. Hickman was pronounced dead on scene.

Hickman was a former wrester for Fresno City's wrestling program for three years starting in 2011. He won a state championship in 2012.
