Dozens of people were running around Downtown Bakersfield on Saturday, but it wasn't just for exercise.
They were part of a competitive scavenger hunt.
The fourth annual Bakersfield Amazing Race had teams from all over Kern County.
The race benefited Stewards Inc-- a local non-profit organization serving disabled men, women and children.
The first place team called "family ties" won 400 dollars and some bragging rights.
Since last year, they came in fourth place.
The race had contestants going everywhere from union avenue to Chester and Mercy Hospital.
The finish line was at wall street.
