CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. — 41 people were arrested in the California City area over Memorial Day Weekend, according to California City Police.

According to CCPD, California City had "more than usual" police presence during the holiday weekend as new officers filled some of the city's vacant officer positions.

CCPD says they were assisted by members of California Highway Patrol during the holiday weekend.
