Tuesday, May 15, the community will have the opportunity to gather to hear from Kern County Sheriff and District Attorney candidates in a "non-partisan, voters education forum."

So far, three of the four candidates have confirmed they will be in attendance. These include District Attorney candidates Scott Spielman and Cynthia Zimmer and Sheriff candidate Justin Fleeman. Current sheriff Donny Youngblood has not confirmed.

The forum will be held at 1081 Panorama Drive in the Fine Arts Room 30 and is being organized by Faith in the Valley-Kern, ACLU of Southern California, Building Healthy Communities- South Kern and others.
