Foster Farms donates 70,000 servings of chicken to Mission at Kern County

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Today Foster Farms delivered a second donation of upwards of 70,000 servings of chicken the Mission at Kern County, totaling a more than 140,000 servings donated.

The family-owned company announced a donation of 2.4 million servings of poultry to food banks and hunger relief organizations on the West Coast and in Louisiana and Alabama.

“Up and down the West Coast and in communities where we live and work, the economic effects of COVID-19 have been devastating,” said Foster Farms vice president of Communications Ira Brill. “We are committed to supporting the important work our community organizations and longtime food bank partners are doing to fight hunger during these unprecedented times.”
