They protect our community on four legs. And Saturday they're entering Bakersfield with their police talents.
Bakersfield Police is hosting their annual K9 trials at the Rabobank Arena in Downtown Bakersfield. The event is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a suggested donation of two dollars a person. Proceeds from the K9 trials will benefit Olivia's Heart Project and the League of Dreams.
During the event the K9 officers will perform a variety of events including an agility course, searches and fetching.
37 teams from around California and even Mexico will participate it Saturday's trials.
