BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Fox Theater announced on Thursday that thanks to the generous donations from the community, they have met their goal and are ready to schedule the repairs to fix their sign.

The Fox has been raising money since January to repair their tower.

They say they have plenty to restore at the Theater and that they are looking forward to seeing the community at their free showing of Back to the Future this Saturday, March 2.

That showing will take place at 1 p.m. where in addition to the film, fans will be able to see Doc's DeLorean Time Machine parked in front of the theater!

The Fox Theater Foundation is a non-profit organization that relies on the public for donations to support the mission and vision of the historic building.
