Fox Theater sells out first show after closing due to COVID-19 pandemic

BAKERSFIELD, Calif — The Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater has announced that they have sold out their first show since having to close due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The theater announced that they would be reopening on November 16 with a showing of "The Wizard of Oz"

Tickets will not be available to purchase the night of the show. Those who purchased tickets online will be able to pick them up one hour before the show begins.

Social distancing will be required during the show and staff will require patrons to move seats if there is not enough distance. Temperature checks will be performed prior to entering the theater. Guests will be required to wear a mask except while at their seat or otherwise noted in state guidelines.
