On Saturday October 15 from 7:00 A.M. to noon Kern County Public Health is offering free flu shots at the Kern County Fairgrounds.

Everyone is welcome to get a free flu shot for yourself or the entire family. Flu shots are available for everyone six months and older. 

Officials recommend you get a flu shot every year to aid in preventing the flu and do every day things to keep germs at bay like washing your hands.

Kern County Public Health will also host another free flu session on October 27th at the Hosking Avenue Swap Meet from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

They are still holding more flu clinics throughout this month and into next month but those vaccines will cost nine dollars.
