BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Today, children and adults can receive a free haircut provided by His Touch Barbershop at LifeHouse Church's back-to-school resource fair.
A scheduled appointment is recommended, but the barbers are also accepting walk-in appointments.
In addition to the free haircuts, the church along with the Oildale Community Action Team is providing backpacks stuffed with school supplies, ice-cream, diapers, and clothing for those in need.
The back-to-school fair is from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at LifeHouse Church, which is located at 3311 Manor St. in Oildale.
