State Route 99 was shut down in both directions at Ming Avenue as a person was on the overpass.

The freeway was shut down at about 10:40 a.m. Monday, as a precaution as authorities worked to talk the person down from the overpass.

At about 11:03 a.m., authorities were able to remove the person from the bridge.
