A local Marine is coming home to spend this season with his family.
For months, Bailey Fierro was away from home, family and friends.
Friday night he returned home from Camp Pendleton, where he was stationed for months, while completing basic training.
Sunday night Fierro's mom, Alice Munoz and her best friend Terri Agcaoili surprised him with a warm welcome at Bakersfield's Christmas Town.
Fierro says he's happy to be home and will enjoy reconnecting with those he loves.
