Lots of frustrations Friday morning as hundreds waited hours to get into the DMV in Downtown Bakersfield.

A small handful of offices reopened across the state but only with limited service. The Central Bakersfield DMV field office on F Street has officially re-opened. Friday morning the line wrapped through the parking lot.

The DMV is reminding Californians that they are still offering online services to complete transactions, including driver license and vehicle registration renewals.

Everyone planning to visit the local office or any DMV office opening Friday is asked to wear face masks and observe social-distancing rules while inside.
