The Kern River Conservancy turns 5! Celebrate the anniversary of the non-profit organization by attending the rafting fundraiser on August 11.

Tickets include a half-day rafting class on the Lower Kern River, all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch, and drinks from Kern River Brewing and Fireball Whiskey.

A $100 cash prize will be given for the best dressed in an 80s costume and best group photo.

The event kicks off at 11 a.m. at Whitewater Voyages and goes until 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are $124.80 per person, $112.08 for children under 17, and $106.08 per person for a group of 12.

All proceeds will go directly to the Kern River Conservancy to help in their efforts to educate the public on river safety and add responsible public land use programs.
