The funeral service for a recent Stockdale High School graduate who was killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 5 over the weekend is being held Tuesday afternoon at an Islamic Center in east Bakersfield.
Amal Shurbaji was one of two teens killed in the crash Sunday night on I-5 near Grapevine Road. Shurbaji, 18, graduated from Stockdale High School last week.
Al Farooq Islamic Center is holding the service for Shurbaji on June 5 following Dhuhr prayer, which is at 12:51 p.m.
Al Farooq Islamic Center is located at 615 Kentucky Street.
