A garage caught fire in Northwest Bakersfield overnight around 2:00 this morning, on Pembroke Avenue, off of Coffee and Olive.
Three engines and a ladder truck surrounded the home.
The quick response by Kern County Fire kept the blaze from getting into the house or shake shingle roof.
A pickup truck and Camaro inside the garage were destroyed, along with other items.
No one was injured and the cause is still under investigation.
