Garces Memorial High School students gather to honor veterans

Students at Garces Memorial High School will gather today, Thursday November 9, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. to honor veterans of the past, present, and future in their quad.

The Department Director of the Kern County Veteran Services, Dick Taylor, will be the guest speaker at the ceremony.

There will be a presentation of the five branches, and afterward all of the veterans in attendance will be presented Saint Sebastian Medals.
