Gas prices in Kern County continue to rise and it's costing drivers the most they've paid per gallon since 2014.

According to numbers released by GasBuddy, the average price per gallon in Kern County is $3.92 a gallon. In the last week, GasBuddy shows gas prices have risen 3.3 cents per gallon. In the last month, gas prices have gone up 69.5 cents.

In 2014, the average gas price in Kern County for this time of year was $4.17 a gallon.

The national average for gas is $2.84 a gallon.
