Gavin Newsom was in Bakersfield on Friday as his bus tour rolled through the Central Valley.

The Lieutenant Governor of California is continuing his "Courage for a Change" tour and hosted a roundtable in Bakersfield on economic and workforce development before heading to Fresno for his 36th campaign town hall.
At noon Newsom held a roundtable on economic development and job creation at the Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties Central Labor Council at 200 W. Jeffrey Street.
After that, Newsom heads to Fresno for a town hall at 3 p.m. He'll finish the day in Stockton meeting with voters and small business people at 7 p.m.
