The Bakersfield Marathon scheduled for Sunday, November 13 will affect several GET routes from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Buses will be unable to use several streets from CSUB through downtown to Bakersfield College and will miss several stops.  Buses going to the Bakersfield College hub will park on University Avenue, south of BC from 6 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m.

 

Customers planning to use GET service should call Customer Service at (661) 869-2438 or go to GET bus.org to get detour information on November 13. 

 

The affected routes are: 21, 22, 41, 42, 43, 44, 61, 81 and 82.
