BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Calling all Girl Scouts! If you're looking to ease the transition for back-to-school this weekend you can do so, and earn a new patch!
Next Saturday, the Girl Scouts of Central California South will be hosting a STEM: Elements of Fun event in Kern County. Local Girl Scouts will have the chance to stretch their brains while learning about science, technology, engineering, and math.
The cost to register is $5 per Girl Scout and that includes admission and a patch. The deadline to register is Friday.
The event is happening Saturday, August 24th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church on 4600 Stockdale Highway.
