Give Big Kern has quickly become the single biggest day of giving back seen locally.

This year's efforts were discussed on Tuesday with local nonprofits and officials with the Kern Community Foundation.

The 24-hour online crowd funding campaign helping local nonprofits receive donations is set for May 1 but the website is already live.
