Houchin Blood Bank is celebrating National Hot Fudge Sundae Day the only way they know how: by offering a free sundae to blood donors. 

After having slow donation days on Friday and Saturday, Houchin is offering free make-your-own hot fudge sundaes to donors all day on Monday. O+ and O- blood types are the biggest needs.

Participants will also be entered into a drawing with the chance of winning a year of Cold Stone Creamery sundaes.

Blood can be given between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at 5901 Truxton and 11515 Bolthouse Drive.

Other incentives include a free Olympic-themed t-shirt and a coupon for Rusty's Pizza.
