Thirteen-year-old Briandria Starks is on her way to the nation's capital as she's set to represent Kern County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
On Monday, Briandria won the Kern County Spelling Bee, nailing the word "enatic" to claim the local crown.
That earned her a trip to the national competition in Washington D.C. starting May 28.
A GoFundMe account has been setup to help cover costs to get her and family members to D.C.
The goal is to raise $5,000.
