Cars of all makes, models, and years were front and center at the 2018 Fall Fling Car Show.

The Kiwanis Club of the Golden Empire, Bakersfield hosted its car show at the Olive Knoll Church of the Nazarene. Cars featured included sports cars, classic cars, muscle cars, lowriders, and more.

The car show also included entertainment, raffles, prizes, and food trucks.

Kiwanis club member and organizer, Mona Millington, says she thinks the Fall Fling Car Show is special because it showcases "oldies but goodies" for the community.

Proceeds from the show go toward a variety of Kern County Children's Charities, including Soctoberfest—a sock drive fundraiser to donate to those in need during the winter season.

Kiwanis Club of the Golden Empire, Bakersfield is part of the larger Kiwanis International, a service organization "dedicated to improving the lives of children."
