BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. — UPDATE: According to restaurant employees, the Golden Ox will be closing between the 20th and 24th of March.
Local restaurant, Golden Ox, is reportedly closing its doors in 2019. An employee who says she's been with the restaurant for 20 years confirmed that the Niles Street location is closing.
The employee confirmed that the restaurant is closing "sometime in the middle of next month". The employee added that the Niles location is owned independently from the locations on White Lane and Wilson Road. The employee does not know the reason the restaurant is closing.
