Goodwill Industries will open its sixth store in Bakersfield this June.

The store will open Monday, June 19 on the southeast corner of Ming Avenue and Ashe Road.

The sore will occupy around 18,000 square feet of the former Orchard Supply building and will employ 28 people.

The first Goodwill in Kern County opened in 1964.
