Google apps have taken off in classrooms nationwide, and the Kern High School District will be the latest to use this technology improving education throughout Bakersfield.
It's all about bringing excitement back to the classroom and preparing students for the future.
The Google App's for Education Summit kicks off Saturday at Ridgeview High School where teachers will be trained to use these apps.
The district says they have been hoping to get Google to come to Bakersfield for over a year and is excited it’s finally happening.
