SACRAMENTO, Calif. — One of Gov. Newsom's most emotional updates, he calls out the the nation to take responsibility and its institutions for the state of our nation.

He asks the nation "Are prepared to do something about it?"

The past few days of protests have turned violent, something Newsom doesn't condone, however, he does justify that the community has the right to feel how they feel.

Those who aim to exploit current civil unrest to incite violence and fear do not have the same sensitives as peaceful protesters.

There is a pandemic on top of a pandemic Newsom says "your rage is real, express it so they can hear it."

He praises all those doing the best to keep the people safe.

Newsom's goal is that every one to gets tested, please go to covid19.ca.gov to find testing sites in your area.
