BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: The Kern County Fire Department has announced that that Amaya fire is now 100% contained.
UPDATE: The evacuation and shelter-in-place orders have been lifted by the Kern County Fire Department. The fire at this point has been contained.
The Kern County Fire Department is recommending that residents living on Amaya Court near Round Mountain Road evacuate due to a grass fire in the area.

Fire crews are on the scene and are "aggressively" fighting the blaze.
